Webby People’s Voice Daily Digest DAY 9 – Your Voice, Your Vote, Your Web
And 970,000+ votes cast by you, and you, and YOU, truly attests to the Webbys’ mission of honoring the best of the Web.
We like this number, but 1 million votes just rolls off the tongue much more smoothly, don’t you think?
There are only 3 days left to get to the polls! Vote for your favorite Nominees at webby.aol.com
Speaking of the Nominees, it looks like Justin Bieber has become a true Webby contender, joining the ranks of other “Most Loved” Nominees like iJustine, Twitter, YouTube Play, and 2 Guys 600 Pillows (Backwards Music Video).
Does this represent your Web? You have until midnight on April 28th to make your voice heard!
One Nominee voicing their campaign message loud and clear is the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation’s “The Time to End Pediatrics AIDS is Now.” The Public Service and Activism Nominee proudly announced their nomination for all to see from their offices in D.C.
Looks like this attention-grabbing tactic drove (heh) people to vote, as “Time to End Pediatrics AIDS" is currently in the lead.
We love to see all the zany, grandiose campaigns from Nominees, but sometimes something as simple as this can be just as effective.
Take for instance, Funny or Die's consolidated ballot page for all 10 of its Webby Nominees.
We didn’t think it was possible, but this makes voting in People’s Voice even easier!
Now get to the polls and vote before it’s too late!
